This unique vintage poster was released by the U.S. War Food Administration in 1944. The poster features Jack Sprat and his wife holding a clean platter, encouraging viewers to "lick the platter clean" in an effort to not waste food during wartime.

This poster transports viewers back in time to the age of World War II, when it was much more commonplace than today for the everyday life of civilians to be impacted by the war. With its bright red background, the poster beckons viewers to read its message and take it to heart.

We understand each customer's needs are unique. Need a custom size? Have any special requests? We are all ears!

Vintage posters were not made in standard sizes, so unfortunately we aren't able to offer all of our posters in the exact same sizes. In an effort to create a standard system, the sizing for our posters is based on the long dimension of each image. While the short dimensions will vary, you can order multiple prints with the same long dimension to create a uniform look when displaying your prints.
