Taken between 1890 and 1901, this vintage photograph captures a piece of Boston history no longer visible today. This Gothic Revival building in Copley Square served as the Museum of Fine Arts from 1876 to 1909. After the museum moved to a new location, this building was demolished. In its place, the Fairmont Copley Plaza (formerly Copley Plaza Hotel) now stands. 

With the goal of preservation in mind, our team has skillfully digitally restored this stunning photograph, maintaining its original condition free of dirt and damage. Our fine art prints allow you to bring this piece of Boston's history into your home or office, keeping its memory alive. 

Our prints are made with care in our Alexandria studio, each one checked for quality before leaving the studio on its way to you. We use archival paper and canvas, so you can be sure your prints will last a lifetime!
