Assembling B-25 Bombers in Kansas City

Captured in 1942, this striking color photograph depicts the assembling of B-25 Bombers at North American Aviation in Kansas City, Kansas. Rows and rows of aircraft fill the warehouse, and the photograph, from edge to edge. 

The Old Town Print Gallery team has digitally restored this historic photograph, returning it to its original condition by repairing damage and correcting fading and discoloration. We worked on a digital scan of the original color negative to complete this work.
