The Bridge of Sighs in downtown Pittsburgh connects the Allegheny County Jail with the Allegheny County Courthouse. It was named after the famous Venice bridge bearing the same name, which similarly connects the New Prison to the interrogation rooms within the Doge's Palace. This vintage image of the Pittsburgh bridge was captured in 1903, with the horse-drawn carriages helping the viewer place the image in time.
We have digitally restored this over a century-old photograph, so our fine art prints are faithful reproductions of the image's original condition. We offer prints on paper and canvas, both of which are museum-quality. The sizes we offer are standard sizes to help make framing and display easier, but if you'd like a custom piece, just let us know! We're happy to help create the perfect print for your space.
