Established in 1909 by the United States Army Signal Corps, College Park Airport is the world's oldest continuously operated airport. It originally served as a training location, where Wilbur Wright instructed military officers in flying the government's first airplane. Since then, it has been home to countless aviation firsts. Captured in 1912, this historic photograph features Lieutenants H. Geiger and T. Dew. Milling.
We've digitally restored this historic aviation image. Our team worked on a digital scan of the original glass negative to repair damage and remove dust and dirt. Our digital restoration efforts have helped bring this century-old image back to life.
Perfect for any aviation enthusiast, our fine art reproduction prints are made with archival paper and canvas. Both print surfaces are museum-quality products, rated to last over 100 years. Each print is made at our dedicated studio in Alexandria, Virginia, and is checked by a member of our team before shipping to ensure it is flawless.
