Couple at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

A bright pop of color, this vintage photograph depicts a young couple visiting the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetery. The icon image was taken in 1943.

We've digitally restored this beautiful vintage photograph, returning it to its original, pristine condition. Like all of our vintage photos, maps, and posters, we digitally repaired damage and removed dust and dirt. With color photographs, another crucial step in the digital restoration process is correcting discoloration, returning the image to its true vibrancy. 

With the digital restoration work done, our fine art reproduction prints reflect the original photograph perfectly.
