The University of Pennsylvania's Quad houses over 1,000 students, comprising numerous connected dormitory buildings. This vintage photograph shows Dormitory Arch, with the iconic Memorial Tower barely visible in the background. This image will be both familiar and nostalgic to those who have attended the University of Pennsylvania and spent time living in these dorms. Captured over a century ago, between 1910 and 1920, this photograph takes viewers back in time to a familiar place at an unfamiliar time.

We've repaired damage, corrected fading, and removed dust and dirt, freeing this unique image from the ravages of time. With this careful work done, our reproduction prints reflect the original condition of the image.
