Pie Town is an unincorporated community in New Mexico, situated along US Highway 60. The 2020 census recorded Pie Town as having a population of just 166. In 1940, Farm Security Administration photographer Russell Lee documented Pie Town and the homesteaders who resided there. His photographs are a window into rural life in the 1940s. This particular photograph depicts a group of men standing around a truck at a colorful gas station.
Working from a digital scan of the original color slide, our team has digitally restored this vintage color photograph. We've corrected the fading and discoloration caused by time, bringing the image back to its original, vibrant condition. Our reproduction prints are a great way to bring a touch of classic Americana into your decor. We use archival, museum-quality paper and canvas for our prints, both of which are rated to last 100+ years. Keep your print out of direct sunlight, and it'll last you a lifetime!
