Ford Motor Co. Ford Touring Car at the Capitol Building

Our collection includes quite a few images of vintage Ford vehicles in front of historic landmarks in Washington, DC. This particular photograph features a Model T Touring Car in front of the Capitol Building. Captured in 1925, the empty streets around the classic car offer a glimpse at a version of Washington, DC, very different from the always-busy DC of today. 

Our team worked on a digital scan of the original glass negative to digitally restore this beautiful photograph, bringing life back into the faded and aged image. With this restoration work done, our reproduction prints reflect the original, pristine condition of the image. We use archival, museum-quality materials for our prints. You can choose between fine art paper and canvas for your prints, and select the size that works best for your space.
