The Georgetown Waterfront has changed significantly over time, and this vintage photograph offers a look at how it appeared in the 1860s. Historic ships line the waterfront, their towering masts reflected in the still water.
Our team has digitally restored this historic photograph. Captured over 150 years ago, the original glass negative had visible signs of the wear and tear of time. Working on a digital scan of the glass negative, we digitally repaired damage and removed dust and dirt. With this restoration work, we've brought new life to this old image.
