The Tip-Top House sits on the southwest side of the summit of Mount Washington, the tallest mountain in the northeastern United States. It was built in 1853 and completed the Summit House, a hotel that had been established in 1852. The Tip-Top House is the oldest surviving building in the summit area of the mountain, and is now a historic site. This vintage image of the Tip-Top house was taken between 1890 and 1901.
Our team at Old Town Print Gallery has digitally restored this historic image, helping to preserve the history of the building. Our fine art print reproductions make the perfect decor piece for any adventurer who has made the trek to the Tip-Top House. Our prints are available in a range of sizes, but if you don't see something that works for your space, don't hesitate to reach out! We're here to help you get the perfect print.
