Lighthouse on an Island

Captured in 1896, this vintage image features a lighthouse on a small island. A home sits on one side of the lighthouse, and a smaller building sits on the other side. The three structures take up nearly all the space on the island. If you look closely, you can see the lighthouse keeper standing atop the lighthouse. Many old lighthouses have a unique charm to them, and this one is no exception.

After repairing damage and cleaning up dust and dirt from a digital scan of the original glass negative, we've returned this beautiful image to pristine condition.
