This vintage photograph gives viewers a look at Harvard's Memorial Hall. We see the building from a short distance away, its view partially obscured by trees. Memorial Hall was built in the 1870's to honor Harvard's alumni who fought to defend the Union during the Civil War. This historic image was captured in 1900, a few decades after the building was completed.
We have skillfully digitally restored this historic Harvard photograph; we have digitally repaired damage, corrected fading, and removed dust and dirt. With this work completed, our fine art reproduction prints reflect the original, pristine condition of the image. Each of our prints is handled with care by our team and checked for flaws before it makes its way to you. We use only the highest quality materials; our paper and canvas are both archival and museum-quality, rated to last 100+ years. You can read more about our prints here.
