Old Christ Church, Alexandria VA

Christ Church has stood in Alexandria, Virginia, since 1773. This vintage photograph was captured a century after the building's completion. While we don't have the exact date the photograph was taken, we do know that it was captured between 1860 and 1880 with a glass negative. 

Our digital restoration work has returned this beautiful image to its original condition. We have digitally repaired damage, removed dust and dirt, and corrected fading. When digitally restoring our vintage photographs, maps, and posters, our goal is always historical accuracy. 

We use archival, museum-quality paper and canvas for our reproduction prints. If you're local, you can pick up your prints right from our studio in Alexandria, Virginia!
