Plan of the City of Washington Map

This "Plan of the City of Washington and Territory of Columbia" antique map offers a unique view into the history of the nation's Capital. A map of DC sits in the center, also showing the Potomac River and the surrounding area. Alexandria can be seen at the far bottom edge of the map, with minor detail. At the bottom are illustrations of the Capitol Buildings in Richmond and Washington, DC. 

We have digitally restored this historic map, repairing damage and correcting fading and discoloration. Our restored map can be purchased as a fine art print, which we offer on both fine art paper and canvas. All prints are made with archival materials at our studio in Alexandria, Virginia.
