Ship in the Locks at Sault Ste. Marie

Usually ready in 2-4 days
The Soo Locks, first opened in 1855, allow ships to travel between Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Located between Ontario and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the locks bypass the rapids of St. Mary's River, where the water falls 21 feet. This vintage image, made in 1908, shows a ship in the process of passing through the locks.
Our team has digitally restored this vintage photograph, so the prints you order will be as pristine as the photo's original condition. Our prints can be purchased on fine art paper and canvas, both of which are museum-quality. Check out the About Our Prints page if you'd like to get more details about our process and the materials we use for our reproduction prints.
