Captured between 1910 and 1920, this vintage photograph depicts a member of the women's suffrage movement wearing a white robe and holding a banner. The banner reads "Forward out of Error - Leave behind the night - Forward through the darkness - Forward into light". She stands in front of the Congressional Union for Woman Suffrage.
