Uris Library, designed by William Henry Miller, Cornell's first architecture student, is the oldest library building at Cornell. It was originally known as "The University Library" when it opened in 1891. This vintage photograph of the historic library was captured around 1900.
We have digitally restored this beautiful vintage image, returning it to its original, pristine condition. Working from a digital scan, we digitally repaired damage, corrected fading, and removed dust and dirt. Our reproduction prints make the perfect gift for current students and alumni alike, bringing a piece of the University's past into the present. Thanks to our archival, museum-quality materials, you can be sure your prints will last a lifetime.
