Witherspoon Hall, commissioned in 1875, was built to accommodate not just increasing enrollment in general, but specifically the more affluent student population enrolling after the Civil War. Witherspoon Hall featured luxury amenities tailored to the needs and desires of wealthy students. One of the first occupants at Witherspoon was Woodrow Wilson, who moved into the dorm at the start of his second term. This vintage photograph of the historic university dorm was captured in 1902.
The team at Old Town Print Gallery has digitally restored this vintage image, taking care to reverse the effects of time. After digitally repairing damage, correcting fading, and removing dust/dirt, our digital image reflects the original condition of the photograph. With this work done, we're happy to offer fine art reproduction prints on both paper and canvas. We use only the highest-quality materials for our prints, with our paper and canvas both being rated to last over 100 years. With multiple print surfaces and sizes to choose from, you can select the perfect size and finish for your space.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions for us! We're also happy to discuss requests for custom-sized prints.
