Printed with Care

We love vintage photography and want to share these great images with other people who appreciate their beauty and historic significance. We perform extensive searches to find these unique images. We then remove any damage that these photos have suffered over the years, such as fading, stains, tears, dirt, scratches and water damage.

Each image is assessed for print quality. The size and condition of the original photo or negative determines how large we can print a particular image and still maintain good image quality. That is why some of our images are available in larger sizes while others are not.

Each print is produced with meticulous care at our studio in Alexandria, VA. The prints are individually inspected for quality before they ship. Our prints are independently rated to last at least 100 years before any fading will start to occur. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany each print.

Paper Prints

These prints are produced on high-end inkjet printers. They are sometimes known as Giclée prints. The pigment-based inks we use are the most archival inkjet inks available.

All paper prints are made on Hahnemuhle Museum Etching paper with archival pigment inks. Museum Etching is a fine art heavyweight (350 gsm), acid-free matte paper. It is 100% cotton, which is more archival than paper made with wood pulp. It is also more eco-friendly. Paper prints are sold unframed. Paper prints are ready to ship in 2-3 business days.

Canvas Prints

All canvas prints are made on Breathing Color Lyve canvas, with archival pigment inks. They are coated with Breathing Color Timeless varnish in a satin finish. Lyve is an acid-free heavyweight (19 mil, 450 gsm), OBA-free canvas that is certified archival. Canvas prints are stretched on 1.5" hardwood stretcher bars with black gallery wrap sides. Framing wire is attached to the back for hanging, so your prints are ready to go on the wall as soon as you open the package.
Canvas prints ship in 4-5 business days.
